Working with key business stakeholders and a Senior Business Analyst, we managed the RFP process for the replacement of the business’s core supply chain management and demand forecasting solution. This involved steering the tender process through its lifecycle from requirements capture through to final vendor selection and presenting detailed proposals to the business.
This work required us to develop an understanding and to document how Screwfix’s existing SCM solution interacted with other business critical systems. Then, working with in-house and 3rd party IT specialists, we designed integration methods appropriate to the new solution.
We also helped assess change requests from the business – designing, costing and championing commercially and technically optimised multi-channel retail solutions. Liaising with senior stakeholders, analysts, developers and 3rd party suppliers to define effective changes for web, call centre and EPOS systems.
